Residential Building
An old college plate remade after college days. It was supposed to be a dormitory building but after college I decided to change the character of the project into a residential tower. Concept: A BASKET CASE, NOT JUST A BASKET FOR FRUITS, BREAD OR VEGGIES ; BUT A HEALING SPACE FOR A DIVERSITY OF STUDENTS WHO TAKES ON THE URBAN FRAY OF LIVING, STUDYING AND GROWING UP.

Mixed-use Towers
Final design project before graduating, a mixed-use development that will cater a majority of market from residential to commercial. The design objective is to design and provide a holistic facilities and spaces where people can live, work and play in which they are in harmony with their surroundings and with the people around them. The project objective however is, The objective of the project is to develop a solution that will answer the problems of overcrowding in urban areas, convenience of living close to work and amenities he/she needed for everyday living. THE CONCEPT: RADIAL RELATIONS Relationship with the users makes successful communities, societies and strengthens its culture. Health relationship with neighbors and the outside community fosters a sense of belongingness in a certain place. Whether a man is living alone or with a family, the relationship with other people makes the living space vibrant and colorful. The project design will be based on nodes where actions and movement will meet and where people can interact with one another; A space where everyone can just enjoy their time with other people, walking with another individual or a group or just relax, sit and enjoy the time passing by while being secured and carefree. This idea is based from the early Filipino community called "balangay" where early Filipinos settle on small communities and is one with their neighbors and surroundings. The concept was derived from a song from Disney's The Lion King "Circle of Life" composed by Sir Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice into which it was written, “…and it moves us all, through despair and hope, through faith and love, ‘till we find our place on the path unwinding; in the circle, the circle of life...â€
